The climate here at Baga is always pleasant. The summers aren’t scorching, and the winters are rarely chilly. During monsoon the rains are generous though! The place is also famed as the land of the best Goan bakers. Goan toddy was first discovered here. Thisis nothing but the coconut or palm sap which was extensively used in baking. Thus the bakery products of the Majorda beach is not to be missed at all. The winter months are considered a perfect time to be at the beach.

In total contrast to the peaceful Majorda beach in south Goa, this beach is perhaps the most crowded of all south Goan beaches. In addition to the breath taking scenic excellence of the beach, the place is a store for endless activities. It offers all that a tourist has on his mind. The road leading from the famous church to the beach is the centre of all fun. Though the beach is a recent addition to the list of famous Goan beaches, it certainly is one of the best. Considered amongst the longest beaches in Goa, this beach is made of clear white sand, or almost silver, that contrasts perfectly with the sea water.
